Some of the projects we do around here are "new" and some are "old". What does that mean? It means, some are made from brand new, purchased materials and some are made from recycled and found materials. I am an avid recycler. I loathe throwing things away. I drive my husband nuts with the things I insist on keeping. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than using up things that would have otherwise have gone into the land fill. And, if you're wondering, I also gain pleasure in saying "See! It was FREE". :-)
I also get bored, easily, once it gets dark and I don't have a good book to read. So - I am always on the look out for things I can do to keep my hands busy while hubby is watching tv. I love to hand sew, so there are many projects I make by hand - no machine - just for this reason. I'll share those that aren't copy-righted and share the resource from which I find that are.
